the electric ball will be held on TUESDAY 7th and THURSDAY 9th april 2026
due to the easter bank holiday monday

April 2026 will see Embargo hosting our very own version of a California inspired  festival with all the glitter and cowboy hats that that entails. We have moved from our usual Monday and Tuesday to Tuesday and Thursday in order to accommodate those who are away for the Easter weekend and may otherwise not be able to attend. A big thank you to Embargo for helping us do this!

We have also moved the timings a half an hour earlier for Year 9.

we raised over £111,000
for childline in 2025.

Embargo was awash with gold on Monday and Tuesday nights - from jewellery to sequins and glitter. We would like to thank Indu Beauty for making everyone shimmer - they have offered us a special discount code (ELECTRIC15) for a 15% discount off their gorgeous products. Our thanks go to Gaudium Events who kindly sponsored our perennially popular Frew & Co Ice Cream rolls and Rory Graham for entertaining us all with his astonishing magic tricks. Copeland Music got the crowd going with top tracks both nights - the floor was heaving! We were thrilled to have Rosie McClelland come and give out prizes for the raffle and best dressed on Tuesday night. The lovely Marina Pownall was also kind enough to come both nights to compere and draw our raffle on Monday. We will be putting photos on here, from our wonderful photographer Twiggles, and on our instagram over the next few days.
